Is there a way to find the drink recipes online?(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Fairysnindo
I just started working at Starbucks 2 weeks ago and am still struggling with a few of the recipes. Is there a website or anything to see the recipes? we have a book but because we're such a high frequency store, I don't have the time to look during my shift and always forget to look after my shift cause I'm just so exhausted and want to go home.

I honestly found the regular app super helpful for this. If you go into drink customizations it’ll say the default recipes!

If you feel you’re struggling with some of the recipes I always found that doing register was helpful because you can look at the base recipes on the side bar every time you enter the drink (pumps, milk, toppings)

Unfortunately our register doesn’t show that. Only the drinks and extras we add.

it should show it on the right side in the little boxes. it will look how it would look if you marked cups edit: also with the holiday recipe cards (or maybe summer idk but i just found it) i think i saw a “basics” card that shows how many pumps everything gets so you could take a picture of that

they’re probably at a licensed store

you really shouldn’t train off the clock. in my green bean days I’d clock in 5 minutes early and sit in the back looking at the recipes that I needed a refresher on.

I’m not trying to train off the clock, I just need a visualization of the written down recipes to look up those I’m unsure about 😖 and for other reasons I can’t get there early enough to look at the stuff then. So unless I actually miraculously remember to look it up after my shift, my only other option for now is to find the recipes online.

If you go to PartnerHub on your phone or home computer and search “Beverage Recipe”, it’ll take you to a page where it breaks down the different recipies. It lists all the seasonal ones first, but there are some drop-down menus to click on that say “Beverage Category:Blended…” with different options after blended

When I first started I took pictures of some of the recipe cards.
download the starbucks app! go in as if you’re ordering and it’ll have all the measurements for stuff when you go in to “customize” drinks. was super helpful when I first started :D

Definitely a bit outdated at this point, so take everything with a grain of salt. (For example, Iced Chai is made with the 3-4-6 pump increment, not 3-4-5 and cold brew kegs are made with chilled/whisked water rather than ice) I used it mostly for remembering the basic ingredients/construction a couple things when I started in July.
If you have the tablets you can go to store resources and find any information you need from recipes to shelf life to cleaning standards!

I made like laminated little cards as my cheat notes wirh all the ratios. I had one for hot beverages and one for cold. It was my bar bff for the first month or so - super recommend

the mobile app defaults to the standard recipes ! at least i know it for sure does for #of pumps and type of shot

Sbuxdates.com has a lot of information on it! There's a cheat sheet download link on it as well.

Store resources is a fantastic place to find everything

I dont know how to share it but I found on Google a “Starbucks infographics” and I saved it to my phone as a bookmark. Whenever I need to look up something it’s there. As for recipes I used the Starbucks app

I learned the recipes through Quizlet and made my own handy flash cards at my own time. I of course made sure they were correct and they were.
