should i take an LOA? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’m going to have a minor surgery next year and i’ll be out for 1 day for the surgery and 2-3 days recovery, but i’d like an extra day to be safe so like 5 days total. Should i request this off regularly, or request a medical leave of absence for this? Can i take a medical LOA for this? And can I use my sick time if i take a medical LOA? I have a lot and I never call out so I’d like to use it.

Request time off it should be fine no need to go through LOA

For five days I would just do a time off request, you can use your sick time for this and not need to deal with Sedgwick

If you have sick time paid time off you can use it too
