Y’all this is a Trenta rant. I’m a 3 year SSV who’s worked at many stores, I’ve also worked in retail as a department manager for 6 years and I have NEVER worked with someone more incompetent.

This partner is also a SSV and is a 20 year partner!!!! It’s truly amazing that they’ve been a partner this long because they don’t know how to do anything.

I transferred to my current store 6 months ago and I had to teach them how to make cold brew. HOW CAN YOU WORK AT STARBUCKS FOR 20 YEARS AND NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE COLDBREW.

The worst part of working with them is that they ALWAYS open and they don’t know how to run a play. So when I walk into work at 6am or 7am the store is basically on fire. Lines out the door, 10+ drinks in the queue and I have to come in a fix everything.

I’ve tried coaching her using Starbucks lingo, I’ve tried talking to my manager, I’ve tried telling her directly how to do their job and nothing changes.

It’s now at the point that I just tell them to get out of my way and I just work around them.

I don’t know if they’re dumb or lazy or both?

Idk it’s crazy to me how bad at their job they are and they’re still here.
