Half milk half foam

Is the cup supposed to feel a little light 🫣?
AdamAce3 30 points 8m ago
Yes. It should be lighter than a latte. The lighter it is, the “dryer” it is

Someone complained about how light their cappuccino was so I just making sure I wasn’t wrong 🫠

We have a lady who comes in all the time ordering a wet cappuccino but what she really wants is a latte. She'll make us take out the foam and steam more milk lmfao

If people are complaining that it's too light, they usually get gas station cappuccinos and actually want a latte.

Ahh ok I knew I made it correctly i don’t understand why they get mad at me when I made it how it was supposed to be made🥲

It's REAL annoying and they're always so pissy about it. We use to have a lady like that. She'd ask for a cappuccino with just a touch of foam and we needed to do it right, the last one she got was really foamy. One day when I made her her usual latte. She did her usual double check of it and said it was perfect. I was like yep, I made you one of our lattes, we make cappuccinos the Italian way, where they're 50/50 foam in milk. Howard got the idea of Starbucks cafes after visiting Italy. She asked for a latte after that.

Omg it reminds me of this lady who made me remake her pink drink 3 times because it wasn’t sweet enough for her and it was during a rush😭😭

This just reminded me of a lady (who was luckily very nice) who ordered a “light wet” cappuccino, and I asked her if she meant that she wanted it dry (to me light wet=less milk=more foam=dry) and she looked at me like she was very confused, so I just asked if she wanted more or less foam than normal bc normal is half foam, and yeah turns out she just wanted a normal cappuccino 😅
