I've been with the siren for a full year now and Im not getting full time hours to at least maybe come up with a portion of my mortgage. Let alone pay bills.

I've told my manager and the suggestion was that I ask the cup fund for help. Another SM said that they want to try to get me 30 hours a week at least but they have to prioritize giving enough (minimum) hours to the slew of new beans they just hired and there aren't enough hours to give 30-35 hours to long term staff.

Weekends are the worst at our store. It's a busy store and busier on weekends. We are staffed to capacity tripping over one another to get food and drink to customers and we cannot keep up. Add in Christmas Launch and Im so not looking forward to going in tomorrow. BUT i know some of my less responsible coworkers will call out and I like my coworkers and dont want to screw them over by being downbanotherbperson and I badly need the money

Now a new device has appeared at our store - they are going to expect baristas to stand outside in the elements taking drive-thru orders. Customers are already maniacs behind the wheel as it is zooming up to the speaker at 25 mph while either placing their mobile order or adding money to their account and I've had a few near misses when taking trash to the dumpster. There is no fucking way in hell I am willing to stand outside in the elements to take orders to satisfy a lower DTO. If it was "safe" they would allow minors to do it and this is not a position available to them so that should tell everyone what they need to know seeing as the minors are allowed to do most jobs inside.

The mobile channel is problematic. There is no bottleneck or measurement of orders to say that we can fulfill them in tandem with Drive -Thru and Cafe orders. We can shut them off and customers get pretty fucking salty about it and then end up coming in in droves anyway last week we literally had 5 busloads due to a collge game in the area. If it could inform customers of current wait times that might actually be useful. But currently its either on or off.

Im so tired and frustrated I dont care if corporate sees this and fires me. I'll go in tomorrow but it feels like another nail in my coffin.

If you got this far with my rant thanks. I needed to vent. I know I should be greatful to have a job, but I want to feel supported and respected by corporate management and I just dont. I feel like a cog in their profit margins.
