We had a guy who came through my old store that we called Caramel Carl. He would ask for this and always tipped very well. His face would always light up. One day he tipped me 8 bucks on his frap and I said "you could get another frap with that, they make you so happy". He replied "they taste even sweeter this way". 🥹🥹🥹 I miss him

If it makes them happy, and they are willing to share that happiness, then you should be happy for them. Those are the kinds of customers that make the siren a little bit more bearable.

When you make a particular person's drink really well, it's more likely you turn them into a regular. Regulars that you yourself make (instead of ones that just are regulars because it's the closest sbux to them) are much more appreciative and tend to not complain as much. (They also tend to tip more and more often but shhhh)

usually when i have to put a shit ton of caramel and line the cup i do like a reg ex drizzle around the cup then i take it to the dark caramel and pump it all around so that way the cup is literally covered in caramel and the dark caramel doesn’t all slide to the bottom bc of the regular caramel underneath lol ik it’s extra

I have had customers come up to me and complain that I didn’t give them enough caramel so I always open the bottle of drizzle and pour it in the cup in front of them until they’re satisfied ._.

Once I watched a coworker make a venti caramel frappe with 10 hot bar pumps caramel, 10 hot bar pumps dark caramel, caramel walls, and drenched in fucking drizzle. I'm still not over it to this day.

see i can't ever fault these people because when i go to the movies i tell the workers to put "as much butter as you are legally allowed to give me" on my popcorn and it just makes me so happy so i imagine these people are the same
