I love when customers think they know stock better than employees. Like ma'am, the brownie in the case does not count, no I don't have more cups in the back, and no, I'm not "hiding" the French Roast Vias.

Last week I had a woman come in around 5pm asking for blonde. Our newest hire who is the sweetest high school student told her we didn't have any on, and asked me for help. So i asked if she had a few minutes to wait and I could put some on, or offered to make a blonde americano. She didn't want to wait and didn't want an Americano. So she left.
An hour later comes back, looks me dead in the eye and goes "I came in earlier and they told me to come back 20 minutes later for blonde roast" I was like I guess I'm they and we still don't have it on because you said you didn't want it. She got mad and left again.
CAME IN THE NEXT DAY AT THE SAME TIME. IT WAS ME AND THE SAME BARISTA. SHE ASKED FOR IT AGAIN. SO I made her pike because I wasn't about to fight over this whole thing again.
She had the audacity to say she wanted a latte, not a coffee. So I made her go pay for a latte.
I guess as soon as I walked off the floor she approached my barista and said that next time she needs to talk to the manager and I'm truly waiting for this to happen again and her be very disappointed when I'm the manager.

A lady asked to order 5 more drinks and food at the drive thru window. I told her no and she threw her drink at me. I also had another lady get in the drive thru 1 minute after she put a mobile order in. She then got mad when her 7 drinks weren’t ready right away. She then mobile ordered a sandwich AT THE WINDOW.

I actually just act stupid when people say medicine ball and make them describe it to me because I’m so sick of it, medicine ball people are the rudest and half the time literally come thru with covid or some shit. Then I act all like ohhhhh you mean the honey citrus mint. One day I did this (I said “sorry we don’t have anything by that name on our menu”) and the lady at the speaker box got LIVID. So pissed about “it’s on the menu and has been for years blah blah” that I had to have my shift do hand off 😬 learned my lesson that was not worth it.

So, a few months ago, we had a woman who would order and drink and then come back the next day saying her drink from the day before was wrong. She’d want either a refund or a free remake.

Well, eventually, my shift supervisor just finally told her, “Ma’am, I can’t refund you or give you a remake unless you bring me the drink that was made incorrect.” This woman was LIVID and demanded to know my SSV’s name and the corporate number. She gladly told her, and we haven’t seen this woman since.

One time my store was out of venti cold lids for a few days, so we were using the dome lids instead - which is not even an inconvenience to anybody, like who cares - and this girl questioned why the dome lid, I politely explained we were out, and then as soon as I walked away the dumbass started reaching for the cold lids by handoff and I looked back and I was like ….that’s not going to fit…. And she gave me a look like *i* was the idiot and grabbed a trenta one and you’ll never guess what happened…. It didn’t fit. I just wanted to be like girl what am I gaining from keeping a lid from you like come on

I was ringing up a pack of gift cards but the outside barcode wasn't working so I explained I'd have to open the pack up. She got upset and asked a for different partner to help as I was the shift on duty who's had the most seniority. But what do I know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

a customer got tight that we didnt have change and that i was giving her 20 cents in pennies, i asked her if she still wanted it and she rolled her eyes and said yes. before that she tried to haggle about the fee we have for extra frap roast when shes been here before and has been told the fee many times. she then comes in the next day and the day after trying to get free extra frap roast and i just looked at her like 😐 i wouldve given it to her if she hadnt walked up to register and acted like a rat in the first place 🤷‍♂️

My friend would give people decaf if they were assholes

I had a guy today in the drive through get mad and haggle me because I couldn’t give him change for his $100 bill and he had to pay with a debit card. I tried to explain that we don’t keep large bills on hand in our tills for safety reasons and he kept giving me attitude over it and scows from his wife. Like sir there is a bank right next door I’m not giving you $93 back in change.

Lady came in asking for mini ham and cheese toasties. Explained that if there were none on display then unfortunately we didn’t have any in stock. She proceeded to insist that I check out the back, even though I told her our fridges out the back were empty and all that we had available was what was on display.

Also had another lady come in on a separate occasion asking for a ham and cheese toastie. Explained that we were all out and suggested other toasties that we had available. She asked me why I couldn’t make a fresh one for her, and couldn’t understand that we didn’t make our food fresh on site daily and that it was all delivered to us pre-packaged and pre-made🤦🏻‍♀️
