Do you normally have to pay the $25 to enroll in a class in asu?(self.starbucksbaristas)

I just started ASU through Starbucks. I meet all qualifications. I had to start with earned admissions. I’m currently taking a math class and I had to pay $25 to enroll is that normal? I haven’t spoken to a advisor yet.

Ok ima talk to them because I spoke to someone that had to do earned admission and the $400 charge was covered. Thank you so much I really appreciate it!

It happens. Starbucks covers 100% of tuition but that’s different from 100% of costs. They don’t cover fees that are class-specific, like lab fees or the Pearson MyLab fees that a lot of math and other STEM classes have.
If you’re in the Pathway to Admission, there is a flat fee charged for every class that you still have to pay.

They covered 100% tuition up to $5250 a year 😅 Got taxed super heavily (~$2000 of deductions more than usual) during December since I did $7k worth of classes throughout the year
