guy came thru and tried to use a 100 on a 3 dollar order. i told him i can’t take it because i don’t have enough change in my drawer and he goes “come on man this is starbucks!!” and i started snapping back and saying “yeah this is starbucks-“ and got cut off by my coworker before i could finish my sentence “not a bank” and yk i wish i could’ve snapped back but i’m glad i was able to stop myself bc it would’ve caused more problems :P
he did end up paying with a card so it is frustrating he just expected me to be his bank though

Lmao people think because starbucks prices are high, they dont see it for what it is which is fast food and they still think its that nice classy cafe where quality is perfection ✨

Lol honestly. People come in to my store sometimes to buy a large number of cake pops like 25 of em or something for a birthday party and things like that. Its crazy when people that do that can literally get a huge variety of things similar from a grocery store bakery for cheaper and with a larger quantity

Told one lady her change will be in all $5s if she pays with that bill, her response; “Ughh well you’re the manager right?, why can’t you just open the safe to get $20’s?” Straight up said NO & crumbled the bill back into her hand lmaoo

I usually just employ my aggressively cheerful NPC Twink voice and folks give up. But for me in the mean time it does cover up the snap backs I do blurt out, since the tone makes it sound way more customer service-y

I’m sorry, we don’t have enough cash change for you, if you are okay with COINS, then One’s and fives I’m sure I can make change for you(that was my MANAGER interjecting over me) and then the customer asked for the manager, and my Manager said, I am the manager. Any objections, and you can talk to my boss, the District Manager, and then the customer whipped out a credit card, and my manager says, seeeeeeeeee, you have other options

Man this has been happening to me a lot lately too. I don’t know why somebody would walk around with 100 bills like my guy that’s how you get robbed. This morning my shift kept letting people use large bills so I almost ran out of singles and fives. I was lowkey stressed about it too cuz we haven’t even gotten our money truck in a couple days

lady tried to pay with a 50$ i asked if she had anything else she got pissed off and said "NO I DONT 😡" then she got pissed off bc she got handed back mostly ones. who tf just drives around without their credit card and only a 50$ bill?? how is it not common knowledge at this point that most drive thrus arent going to take anything higher than a 20$.

yeah well i was like in the middle of talking and then my coworker cut me off but i was gonna finish my sentence anyway. But when they cut me off it kinda snapped me back into reality and i was like ok girl u need to just drop it
