Red cup day (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Emotional_Laugh_322
Is red cup day supposed to be a secret from customers? My manager keeps telling everyone who asks that we don’t know when it is so that way customers are “surprised” when they come in, but I couldn’t find anything that says this is true or otherwise on the hub.

The cups are the main thing that are supposed to be kept a secret. Which made me actually laugh out loud when I saw a picture of a Krobux in Dallas that had the red cup in the stand for the reuseable cups available for sale

We've been telling everyone who asks it's the 17th

Not really a secret, if someone asks you can tell them. While some partners may hate it, it’s to drum up business for that day and probably justify the payroll being scheduled that day.

Yes it’s supposed to be a secret because clients who order a holiday drink that day are supposed to be surprised with a holiday cup as a form of thanks
