If you lose benefits, they stop removing it from your pay? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Ceramicusedbook
I've been here almost 5 months. 🇨🇦 partner.

My hours got cut to like 12hrs/week.

I'll be surprised if I qualify for benefits next quarter.

If we lose eligibility,do they stop deducting it from pay and are you unable to reapply until August?

I would contact partner resources for your best answer. Also discuss with you manager that you aren’t meeting the qualification for benefits and that you need to remain at 18-20 hours weekly so you don’t go back and fourth with qualifying hours. It also does NOT go by week, it’s per quarter if you worked w light hours over the period of time

I mentioned it. She told me to pick up shifts at other stores, that everyone's hours have been cut so my best bet is helping other stores in the area.

I'll call. Thank you!

I would let them know your managers response , warn her that you may want to transfer to a store that will take better care of their partners. It’s not fair for the to cut your hours like that causing you to lose benefits, but also my store cuts hours from people who suck at their job or always call out. So make sure your ducks are in a row before you call
