What was the old standard for hot chocolate? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I want to try the old recipe in a venti size since my store is out of teas and I want something warm to drink.

If I remember correctly, it was vanilla and mocha equal pumps

It was never equal pumps. Standard for mocha. 1/1/2 for vanilla.

Thank you! I saw someone a while ago day how delicious it was so I’m excited to try

Yeah it was way better when they had vanilla in it. I think removing it was for “beverage simplification” that made everything more complicated.

That’s right! I think I was mixing it up with the pephc lol and it used to get whole milk too right?

And whole milk, I think

For a venti it used to be 5 mocha, 2 vanilla. Made with 2%. Whipped cream on top, swirl of mocha drizzle.

ETA: the whip also used to taste better because it was made with twice the amount of vanilla. By comparison, now you can barely taste it.
