I don’t think I do. I actually got sick last week and my manager used my sick hours. I only had around 4. Despite working my butt off and being hired for only a year, that’s all I had combined since hired :(

Check you pay stub you should have way more sick hours and by next year you will have accumulated more. 1 hour for every 25 worked.

Can you make up the average by spreading an extra 12 over the other 3 weeks in each month ? Like time off week one, 16 hours each week two, three, four? Not sire if that results in extra shifts or just longer shifts thr sake number of days. Can you uber to keep the job? I know it takes a big chunk of the days salary but just depends whether keeping the employment is important enough. Will you have more vacation/sick hours saved up by then?

There's always a solution, it's just how motivated we are to find it, which in this case you may not be and that's okay.
