Does starbucks have overnight positions? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by spiceybagel
I know Dunkin has an overnight baker job and i’m wondering if starbucks has the same thing? Also I’ve got an interview this week so any advice is appreciated!

Starbucks stores don’t make their own food, everything is shipped in frozen. The only stores with overnight positions are the ones open at that time.

Interestingly enough, our DM has told us about stores in our area that worked out doing the entire week’s worth of Clean, Safe, & Ready overnight. Both of us are not huge fans of doing it this way, but it will vary from region to region on what stores do that—we just do one station a day over the course of the week.

are you talking about clean play? that only takes two hours after close once a week

What do you mean one station a day?

Now I’m starting to doubt if we’re doing it the right way LMAO, but we were trained one day is deep cleaning espresso bar, then the next CBS + Nitro, Customer area, BOH, etc. But this involves completely taking apart machines, pulling out fixtures, amongst other things such as the weekly cleaning tasks in the section of the DRB right before you get to the Clean, Safe, & Ready portion. How do you guys do clean plays??

Maybe in some places but the most we’ve worked is till 11pm. And that’s because of clean play once a week

24/7 stores will. I guess if you live close enough to a distribution center there might be some there too.
