For context: I'm a parent and have a hard time finding daycare on days the school has off. I asked for the 2 days they give for Thanksgiving off and now I'm only scheduled one day that week for less than 5 hours 🤬

Are you working at corp? What is your average working hours a week? I ask because corp policy is you can't be working less than 12 hours a week and must have minimum 18 hours availability

In that case, your SM can reduce your hours as long as your average doesn't drop below 12 hours a week. See if you can pick up hours at nearby stores

They seem to be cutting hours again. My SM keeps saying “we just aren’t earning the labor” even though our sales have increased about 10k per week. It makes no sense.

Talked to my ASM when I got to work today and apparently that week isn't actually finalized. Hopefully that's the same for anyone else having issues like this

That's my last week before maternity leave and I'm also only scheduled 4.5 hours. Wonder if they're cutting down to bare bones that week because they have to pay people time and a half on Thursday. 🥴

I asked for Black Friday off and volunteered for thanksgiving eve and I only got 15hours (and thanksgiving eve off) when I normally work 30+

I requested a couple days off too and now have 2 weeks with 8 hours per week. I have been with the bux 10+ years and they do punish us if we have a life outside the store and need a few days off.
Then I realized that a new person completed training and they now have my hours!
Wish the higher ups could experience living on $300 paychecks for a few months.

I plan to become a store manager. And when I do you should transfer to my store cuz I’m giving everyone 40 hours a week idgaf about corp. maybe I’ll get fired real quick too lol

You will give a fuck as you only have x labor. You also need to make sure all partners have a minimum average of 12 hours a week.
