I'm looking to get promoted to ASM, but I was wondering if anyone knows roughly what ASM's get paid in the Houston area? I feel weird asking about pay because I don't want to sound greedy, but I am curious about what kind of pay increase I should expect if I get the promotion.
Edit: I completed my interview this week and yesterday my district manager called me to let me know I got the promotion, so I know for sure now how much I'll be making, and it's more than I expected thankfully. I'm so excited to be starting my new position at the end of the month!

Also advocate for more ! Especially if you’ve been with the company a year plus or if the potential store might be a high volume. Ended up getting 4k above starting

I definitely want to negotiate a higher pay rate, especially considering my experience. I've been with the company 7 years and a supervisor for 6 years. Opened 2 stores, been a barista champion multiple times, coached barista champions, and I'm a coffee master. Honestly I feel like I eat sleep and breathe Starbucks and I'm excited to move up and I'm probably too dedicated to the company in all honesty 😅

Heck yeah! I believe you can get more than base pay. Don’t be afraid to back down and negotiate with em. Especially if it’s near the annual pay raise. When you become salaried it’s not always guaranteed for you to get the pay raise as well.

I know my ASM gets paid around $45 an hour but I am in New England. My jaw literally hit the floor when I found out

Are you sure about that? $90K a year for ASM seems unlikely

I'm positive. She doesn't work full time hours though, it fluctuates between 20-30 a week. We live in a city with a very high cost of living so that could be a factor

californian asms make 45-55k

Depending on the the market! They recently raised the cap in my area in California so now it’s 45-62k a year

I’d say expect anything from a 20-30% increase from your current shift pay! your interview recruiter will give you an “offer” should you go through the interview process and get chosen

Current ASM in Houston area. Just received tiny pay increase two weeks ago but not too far from shift pay.
