Shift Marketplace not showing up as an option? I’m also a borrowed partner at 4 stores. I get the push notifications for open shifts, but they don’t show up when I open the app. Anyone know what’s up? (reddit.com)

Solved! I was on a leave of absence for 3 weeks while my store was closed for a remodel.
My return to work date was originally November 06, but our stores reopening was extended. Because of the extension of the remodel, my LOA was extended?? Maybe by a SM or DM to be helpful.
So since I was still classified as an LOA my shift marketplace wouldn’t show up.
It is all taken care of now! I called Sedgwick and my LOA extension was removed.

if you already have 5 shifts the week of the offer then it won’t show any other shifts on your days off. or if its an available shift that ends with any time before your next one starts then it won’t show.

What the hell is the point, then? When I got hired my SM was all “oh yeah, you won’t get full time hours by default but you can always pick up shifts and get yourself there as long as you don’t go over 40!” But like, I get scheduled for 5 shifts a week, none over 5.75… but I don’t have the option to pull a double, or to go work at our sister store after my shift is over?
The only time I’m lucky enough to get extra shifts is if someone says in our group chat that they need coverage, and a lot of times those texts come in while I’m *already at work* so people claim them before I even know I’ve gotten a text :/

you could start a district wide group chat for coverage. thats what my district has and how I’m able to get my hours. and then send a message saying “Hey all I’m available this day for a shift within this time if anyone needs coverage message me directly please!” and then let them know you won’t be able to claim it on the app so they should keep it on their end and then just let the shift supervisor know for that day so they can write it in their dcr.
