hi i’ve been a partner for almost a year now and i recently just completed my training to become a barista trainer, so i do not believe my store has the intention to let me go.
yesterday, i noticed that the scheduling app had logged me out. i tried logging back in, and it told me that my user id was invalid. so i went on to my partner info to see if they really were invalid. my partner info told me that the my numbers were “locked”. when i went in for my shift, my numbers didn’t work for my mark out and i couldn’t sign into the time clock.
this morning i woke up to being dropped from my spotify :(
i’ve reached out to my store manager but i’m feeling very uneasy about this because i use the lyra benefits and i want to make sure i am able to still receive care.
does anyone have any experience with this? have your numbers stopped working out of nowhere?

I don't think they would freeze your number before telling you if you were let go, especially if you went in for a shift. I would call partner resources. Did you not tell your ssv or sm that your numbers weren't working?

i told both my ssv and sm about it. they both told me that they had no intention of letting me go. i’m currently waiting for partner resources. thank you for the suggestion!

This has happened to a couple of my coworkers before, my guess is that a number similar to yours was deactivated and the system bugged and hit yours too. Def not unheard of, it’s usually a pretty easy fix.

you might need to reset your password
also your Spotify account is suspended if you don’t use it for a whole month. it’s easy to reactivate it.

even if you’re separated, the lyra benefits are still available for 18 months

ahh thank you! i didn’t know that!

Maybe you got accidentally terminated like another poster from a couple of months back? Either way, I hope you get it sorted! That sounds v stressful.

i’ll have to find that post! thank you! it is pretty stressful 😅

I would say this for sure… Definitely talk to your manager about it! It happened to me at the beginning of the year where I lost access to everything and Spotify didn’t work either. If your manager doesn’t do anything about it, call partner resources. The excuse I was given was a glitch in the system terminating partners randomly. And happened to a few others in my district. Downside to it was it took months for me begging my manager to help fix it. Hopefully you get it figured out!

i once had my sm accidentally fire the wrong person, so that’s what i’m thinking here. they wouldn’t let you go without telling you

I just found out my password is about to expire because I’m about to hit my one year (Friday!) and I’ll need to reset it before then, so maybe this is the case for you as well?

congrats on your one year!! i didn’t see anything about that but i’ll definitely look into it!
