Is this allowed? I work at a certain grocery store that I won’t name but they are throwing people in Starbucks that don’t know what they are doing. No food handling certification, no training, nobody knows what they are doing. The company is just doing it to keep Starbucks in the store.(self.starbucksbaristas)

None of us even know how to make drinks. People are complaining. Btw I am one of those people. This isn’t right

I'm so sorry. No, it's not right. Can we help with quick recipe standards? Are you getting a lot of holiday drinks ordered, "medicine balls/cold busters", caramel macchiatos and white mochas? Give us your most frequent headaches and we'll attempt to help!

If people have proper training, then it's fine. But it sounds like you don't have proper training, and that's where the issue lies. Most people who work at a non-licensed starbucks don't have food handling certification, we are just trained by people who know how to safely do the job. I'd take it up with your manager or HR if possible.

Management is the one making us work there. The district manager told her to throw us over there. Even went to the union. So yeah nobody cares
