Are store managers allowed to pay your sick time hours without letting you know?

In my experience my manager has always asked if I want to use them. I don't think they're supposed to unless you say "I want to use sick time"

If you called out sick, then yes they can, but if they're just adding random sick hours onto your paycheck they can't.

No, they can only enter it if you’ve written in your punch log on your DRB or verbally asked you to confirm
