Hello!!! I'm a 320 partner and I've been with Starbucks for around a year and half now and I've wanted to be a shift for about a year, but my manager hadn't given me the opportunity or green light to apply since I hadn't shown I was "capable of a leadership role" (aka I wasn't running the floor with another shift for not shift pay until she came in and just didn't run the shift so I had to do it for her 😐).
Anyway, I was finally told I'll be getting an interview next week and I'm so so nervous because I am autistic and I feel like a lot of the questions I get asked I don't understand the wording to even if I am completely capable of executing the response on the floor (helping baristas exceed their goals and grow, dealing with difficult baristas or customers and conflict resolution, etc).
I was wondering if any currect shifts remember their interviews and the questions they were asked so I can prepare my answers in advance!! I would super appreciate it because I need this promotion so bad
Tl;dr - Shift supervisors! What questions were you asked during your interviews to become shift leaders? What should I expect to be questioned on?
