I thought I was good at being a people pleaser until working here. I'm getting over the fact that I cant please everyone in my day to day life without exhausting myself...fair enough, but being confronted at work about it can be stressful. Sometimes no matter what you do, a customer might walk out cussing your name under your breath, and you have to learn to let that go. It's just coffee.

Nothing at starbucks is ever that serious. Unless the store is being robbed. Or somebody died. Other then that it doesn’t matter. It’s just coffee.

That Covid was going to happen and completely change the way it feels to work at Starbucks (and not in a good way).

I never would have expected Mother's Day to seriously be one of the busiest days of the year. Our store was packed like a can of sardines with customers. Now I know to specifically request off for next Mother's Day 😭 Never again bro 😭😭
