what exactly is the social media policy? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by iiiimagery
My boss asked me to delete a tik tok I made on my break in concern that starbucks might fire me if they see it. I know it's unlikely and etc and I deleted it just in case but I'm wondering what the actual policy is?

If you want, I can get you the exact wording later today, but ultimately it's pretty much anything posted on social media talking about the company lmao

If you say anything negative, it counts as a violation. If you use the logo, the uniform, etc it can count. There's supposed to be zero social media posting talking about coworkers, customers, management, vendors, etc. As that can all count.

I think there's also a bit about no filming in Back of House because that's where corporate communications are, where unreleased stuff is, etc. But don't quote me on that, I might be confusing that one with GameStop's employee policies.

Ooooo I’d love to see the wording if you wouldn’t mind or if you could tell me where I could find it. I know one of my coworkers wanted to make some fun tik toks and I wasn’t sure what was allowed and what wasn’t I just told them I knew we weren’t allowed to video in the BOH.
