so weather changes are ugly and every time i go to work im at dto or register and the weather fcks with my throat so bad i start having coughing fits that last me like 10-15 minutes n make a homie throw up.
happened in the past two days back to back.
my shift said idc if you call out i just need coverage, and i was wondering if you’re sick as a mf and almost coughing up your lungs do you still take responsibility for finding coverage

Honestly if you call out and say no to any of the covid questions - it states you can’t work for 24 hour and you’ll have to contact your manager. Just say you’re shitting your pants or throwing up and there’s nothing they can do about it

Also mental health days are covered by sick time so if you simply call in and say “i need a mental health day” they can’t ask further questions

You are NOT responsible for finding coverage, the manager is, pull out policy on them if they tell you otherwise

If you're sick, you aren't responsible for finding coverage but it looks good if you try not to leave the store hanging.
