Because this just isn’t really what I’m good at 😅 as finnicky and frustrating as the new credit card tipping system is (handing someone the card reader at 9 am when the Texas sun is BLAZING DOWN and blacking out the screen rendering it unreadable and apologizing to hundreds of squinting faces in cars while reaching out of the window on my tippy toes and the cord is too short….. I could go on), I’ve noticed that nearly everyone leaves a $1 or more tip when before they typically wouldn’t because they didn’t have cash handy. I get it, I usually don’t have cash handy, and I always tip. But how much of a difference in our paychecks do you think we’re really going to see? Because we definitely made at least $100 more in tips this morning alone than we usually do because the system is different…..
