So I have called out twice out of 4 months I have worked, and now my boss says we have to have a sit down and connect over this. The times I have called out I have had a genuine emergency and he asked me to “plan them out better” I am very irritated and don’t know what to do.

Honestly I read that as four times in two months and I still wondered why your manager is so up in arms…. Shit happens. I’ve been sick twice since July - once with covid and once with a cold that I called out for two days in a row. No one batted an eye lid…
