something i learned in training was to swirl the pitcher/tap it on the counter to pop some of the air bubbles. it looks cute though!!

Thank you. I was told to do that too but I didn’t know that was the outcome of it to pop the air bubbles. Good to know 😊 I’m definitely going to work on it.

I was not meaning to be a hater at all, sorry for the tone.
My tips are make sure the wand isn’t dead perpendicular to the ground, preferably pointed inward, and not centered on the pitcher either. and do the swirl and tap. I usually aerate on the longer end of things because 2-3 seconds just is not enough for 2% milk.

If u just pull down to aerate for a second and put it back up to steam, it will create shiny milk. However the milk would be too thin to do art. If u do it twice it would be perfect milk. However, steaming it to 160 is way too hot for normal latte art milk. Usually kids temp would be good. U can always groom ur milk if u are steaming to 160.
