In most if not all states it’s against food safety policy to have any painted or acrylic nails unfortunately

you’re actually not supposed to have nails at all
your SM will take pliers if you even show up to work with nails

Any nails are against dress code.

Unfortunately, we aren’t supposed to have anything on our nails. I would always have acrylics on for years before I started working there so it was a big change for me. It’s the policy I hate the most. I’ve tried to ask if I could wear gloves but they told me no :(

Sadly yes, I almost got sent home for just black polish a few days ago:( my recommendation is to just do clear polish if you would like

If they’re just painted and your shifts are cool they might led you wear gloves during your shift
