I've been tryna spread the gospel word of this site to partners at my store. It hasn't caught on yet

Bro I need a CS/Trainer dedicated IPad with this in BOH! I know we have store resources but having that date chart for quick labeling and a link right below! Quick, easy, simple.

I have printed and laminated cheat sheets. Every morning I would write those dates on a piece of paper and put it on the wall with one of the iPads.

I have sent to several people who don’t use it. 🤷🏻♀️ I shared on Reddit a year ago as well, and several people started using it. It is super helpful.

I’m a trainer and I’ve incorporated this website into my training routine for new hires lol
ShelleBelle777 [OP]5 points7m ago
I shared here on Reddit last year and I’m STILL using it. I’m glad to see they updated it because it was still showing the old shelf life standards for refresher bases.

The irony of this website is that it's called Sbux dates, and the only things that are incorrect are ... the date counters.

Vsc is 1L of hwc? 🥲 I swear it was 1.25L
ShelleBelle777 [OP]5 points7m ago
Yeah. 1 litre of hwc. Then 350 vanilla syrup. Then 650 of 2% milk. Add it all up and you have your 2 litres.
dontgiveah00t3 points7m ago
😂 my store people make it into 6L at a time, in cubes and half the time it doesn’t foam properly
ShelleBelle777 [OP]7 points7m ago
That would be going against standards. Like double batching frapps. Not surprised quality is compromised. I have found that following the recipes works and always tell my partners when they try short cuts, “Starbucks spends big money hiring experts to formulate their recipes. I think I’ll trust them, rather than you.” 😂

Lol my SM is totally fine with this due to how busy we are and limited fridge space, we probably go through 9 2L during peak daily. I try to always make the vsc and measure it by the 2L and pour into the cubes for storing in the fridge. I’ll post this recipe guide by the prep area tomorrow hehehehe

All of this is on the iPads and super easy to access.
ShelleBelle777 [OP]1 points7m ago
It is. I’ve printed them too. The handy thing that speeds things up is the first page - having the dates in real time for date dots.

What is the peach and guava juice?
ShelleBelle777 [OP]1 points7m ago
We no longer keep guava juice but the peach juice is for Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade. Many add it to refreshers. It’s on the more custom toppings section on the register, I think.

It’s incomplete but a good start 🤷♀️
trouble-in-space1 points7m ago
It’s sad that we pretty much have to teach ourselves these things since the training is less than desirable.
ShelleBelle777 [OP]1 points7m ago
I think the training materials are excellent. I take an iPad on my break and look up resources. I then remember that I’ve seen it before but forgot about it. I print or screenshoot a lot of stuff
