Yea lol Ours are vile. We have most good reviews but these are the most ridiculous bad ones.

1) "nauseating. not the coffee of course but all these Baristas here are exceptionally obese and overweight. this gives a bad image to startbucks. what it means is essentially 'drink our coffee and become immensely unattractive'. or 'heart attack guaranteed coffee'."


2)" For a company that preaches diversity, very few to no male staff, no male staff today. Very little culture diversity amongst the female staff"

The 2nd is particularly ridiculous because the reviewer goes to the one that just opened in the next town over and Updates his review every time he goes and they're getting worse over the pettiest things... Like the lights being hung at the *wrong* height.

one of our reviews says "chicken is dry" but we serve no products at our store with chicken in them

At my old store I used to work at, there’s a review that says “I asked an employee how much everything on the menu would cost, and she couldn’t even give me a number! Worst experience!” 😂😂

It’s funny to see reviews that are like “STARBUCKS IS TOO EXPENSIVE!!! NOT GOING TO STARBUCKS ANYMORE!” As if it’s anything related to a specific store. And my store had a bunch of complaints about WiFi issues as if we’re qualified to fix the technology

I checked our store reviews one time and it was the best thing ever. We had one barista who loved to sing. Like all the time. She thought she was gods gift to the world and would sing loudly the whole shift. We were all so incredibly annoyed and my manager at the time didn't have much of a backbone and didn't want to say anything that rocks the boat.

The review I found was a customer who straight up called out the singing barista as annoying and not even that good of a singer. He also just ripped her apart and I was loving every minute of it. I showed the review to my manager and finally she spoke to the barista. It was gloriously peaceful after that.

I've checked the reviews before. One was from the grand opening was like "uhmm they were like super slow. 1 star" :')

We got this one a few weeks ago lol

“My boyfriend and I came here to claim his free starbucks birthday reward. But we were one day late and they didn’t make the exception of honoring since instructions are unclear on the app. They take their jobs seriously as if they were making 6 figures, disappointing since it is so hyped up”

my favorite review is from an ex partner about how we refused to honor her partner discount (and how she conveniently leaves out the fact she was fired & cussed us out every time she came through)

one time I had a homeless looking old guy bring in a tumbler that had dried up gunk that looked like the remains of a latte all over the sides and it smelled awful and literally almost made me gag. I cleaned it out for him in the back and made his drink anyways bc he looked like a mess and I think there was something wrong with his head but still disgusting nevertheless

My manager literally had to tell a partner next time don't take a dirty cup lmfao

I have this cranky old lady who gets so mad at me when I won’t put her disgusting sweet n low packets from the bottom of her purse in her drink for her. I’m on bar, my hands are clean and I’m making multiple drinks. Either use our sweeteners or put it yourself 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have a bad review about me. By name as well. Of course its the top review of our location when you look us up and she was over exaggerating. I didnt even do what she said I did 🤷‍♀️

We have a review where the person at the register in the lobby complains about how a trainer and new employee training on drive thru were “the least bothered” to help him

I had a very long negative review about me a couple years ago when I first started at my old store, very fun stuff

You did exactly as sbux says. Other option is our reusable cups and pour in theirs. I'm not sure this works for hot coffee as the clear plastic would get too hot

We had to print out the cup policy in case customers asked because people kept getting so mad showing up with their filthy cups

i love looking at them, it gives me the giggles! one man was mad that we were closed during the great texas freeze and when we were open that we didn’t make our sandwich’s back of house, have we ever advertised that we did??

i look at them every so often and the only review that names someone is a bad review for my SM 💀

I did it pretty regularly to see how we could improve

I can't confirm if it's still standard or not, but as far as I know, if a guests requests we put a drink in a specific cup, even if it isn't "clean", we have to comply, but we have to ask them to remove the lid/ straw. And I usually give it a rinse, either way.....

..... if you're a barista, and getting paid at minimum, 15$ an hour, you can rinse their cup and make a drink in it..... you LITERALLY just need to ask them to remove the lid ..... like please God, if you're seriously complaining about HAVING TO BE A DECENT HUMAN while being paid DOUBLE what most 7 digit baristas made starting, like don't get me wrong..... but for real?!?!?

EDIT: Call me a robot, but tbh that's OG Starbucks.... you're literally paid to make customers lives easy and better and supply coffee....
