As I understand it, coffee isn't like wine where it "gets better with age"; It seems like a common consensus in the "coffee snob" world. I heard a rumor that Starbucks used the left over stale coffee that hadn't been sold and markets it as a "Holiday blend" or "thanksgiving blend" as an alibi for the flavor profile discrepancy.
Anyone have any context/more info on this matter? Curious to learn more (as an active barista).

Idk if I've ever heard that, but i did do a coffee tasting of the Thanksgiving blend and it is definitely Not repackaged Sumatra. The pecan notes were too intense.
