shes my favorite starbucks youtuber but doubling down and saying “toasted white mocha frap, no twm, sub sugar cookie” is the correct way just annoys me(reddit.com)

to add: it’s 5.75$ for both of the fraps, and an additional 80 cents to add the sugar cookie syrup to the twm frap, doesn’t cost anything extra to do a sca frap with whole milk and holiday sugar topping. so it costs more for the way she did it rather than just subbing the almond for whole and changing the topping.

also the sugar cookie frap *does* come with whip. same as the apple crisp frap. even though they’re made with alt milks they do still come with whip on the fraps.
TwoDallas15 points7m ago
I got the sugar cookie Frappuccino with whole milk and I had ordered the creme based one and they gave me the coffee based one but it was still good but they forgot the whipped cream. I didn’t notice it until I had made it home.
MasterMischievous7 points7m ago
How’d you make it home without realizing the top half of your drink was missing rofl.
TwoDallas1 points7m ago
I live like 3 minutes away from Starbucks but when I got the drink I was thought that something is missing from it. But it hit me when I got home, I like damnit.

standard comes with whip. the only fraps that dont come with whip by standard are still only coffee and espresso fraps. you can look at the recipe cards on the ipad
TwoDallas1 points7m ago
if you look at the menu online whipped cream is still standard according to the menu with the standard diary or not.

anyone who does social media while on the clock will forever irk me and i hope they all get fired
caitlin_marie_gg [OP]43 points7m ago
its always the licensed baristas🙄
darkwolf5235 points7m ago
As a former licensed store barista, I’m offended
mama_bibi3 points7m ago
Same cause our store was pretty legit and by the book. Im at corporate now and it's a joke. Not saying that all corporate stores are a joke but specifically my store is worse than my old licensed store
rubunny4 points7m ago
Why are they downvoting you. As a barista who moved from a corporate store to a licensed store kiosk our district managers are way stricter on us at the licensed store than my SM was at the corporate store.
darkwolf5230 points7m ago
Yo why I got a downvote? It was a joke 😭

Yikes.
I know who you are talking about. She is also the same person that did a tik tok and claimed that there wasn’t full pumps of the pumpkin sauce this year but she didn’t call it half pumps either, she said that it was a little less than full pumps. She also said that this year’s the pumpkin sauce has real pumpkin in it for the first time, I knew that was added back in 2015 as pumpkin purée and Newsweek picked up her tik tok cited her in their article about why the pumpkin latte was tasting different. Btw, she uploaded that tik tok to her YouTube channel.
Edited to add: I just looked at the other photos omg wow just. She use to work at a licensed location. Omg wow. Smh.
caitlin_marie_gg [OP]15 points7m ago
lol a couple people from this subreddit nicely corrected her and she straight up started attacking them and was like “i’m using logic which you lack lmao oop” girl this ain’t middle school 😭😭
TwoDallas1 points7m ago
Thanks. I was wondering had anyone reached out to her about this when I saw that video of her Tik Tok. It's disappointing to hear that she responded that way. I've seen a few people in the comments sections of some YouTube videos asking about if it was really true that Starbucks is using half pumps for the pumpkin spice lattes this year. I've seen this at least twice now, that I can remember. But when I see that question, I quickly think that they probably saw her video on YouTube or Tik Tok. lol

sugar cookie creme w/ whole milk, sub red and green sprinkles for holiday sprinkles is so much easier?
caitlin_marie_gg [OP]3 points7m ago
LITERALLY
nightimevil15 points7m ago
So what she wants is a Sugar Cookie Frappuccino (which automatically gets whip btw), no holiday sprinkles, sub for the TWM sprinkles, and whole milk instead of almondmilk.
The TWM way is less to say, but I'm not sure which is cheaper. I would personally just rather use the SC as the base, but that's just me.
darkwolf52314 points7m ago
The sub sugar cookie syrup for TWm sauce broke me.

It might be more exspensive or weirder to hear but it's less buttons to push so im down
Vistril694 points7m ago
i raise you the Syrp Crmfr Vt Sugar Cookie Syrup Add Hol Sgr Topping >:)
cody_18491 points7m ago
After spending way too much brain power trying to understand this entire post, I’ve determined you are correct, take this imaginary award. You win.
Joranaxis4 points7m ago
Why not just order a creme frappuccino with sugar cookie syrup and red sprinkles? I work tarbucks now and our computers dont have a creme frap button and its been a few years since i was at corporate but that seems like the least confusing option for both sides imo
violaaesthetic3 points7m ago
I’m gonna get downvoted to hell for this, but I actually think she’s right. It’s just one substitution, one change to the recipe, as opposed to two/three. It’s actually easiest for everyone to order it this way
caitlin_marie_gg [OP]6 points7m ago
honestly i was just confused 😭😭
violaaesthetic1 points7m ago
Your confusion is valid, don’t worry!
Nraveles114 points7m ago
I don’t think so tbh imo. Because it would confuse the hell out of me seeing the sticker.
Plus she said sugar cookie Frappuccino’s don’t get whip, which they do
violaaesthetic1 points7m ago
You’re definitely right, she doesn’t know the recipe for the sugar cookie frapp lol! I’m sorry that sounds like a confusing sticker to you. I guess you’ll get to start practicing that skill next someone mobile orders a blonde vanilla latte sub sugar free vanilla on you
Nraveles111 points7m ago
Nah trust me I’ve have many many confusing stickers but I have really bad ADHD so I will 9/10 put toasted white mocha and sugar cookie instead because I will forget nearly every time

I love when customers think they know more than us…. The people that work there….😂
caitlin_marie_gg [OP]2 points7m ago
shes an ex licensed barista who thinks she knows more about corporate baristas apparently. she insisted the sugar cookie frap didn’t have whip and then when someone responded and said “i checked the beverage resource manual”, she said “waste of your time, no need to check and go cry about it.”
Alternative_Exam37232 points7m ago
I’m also a licensed barista(learned everything from a corporate barista) but we do everything by the book. If someone ordered a sugar cookie frappe I’d make it like I’d make any other frappe😂

or just ask for a syrup cream tf???
Apprehensive-You52611 points7m ago
Nothing to do with how she made the order but in a handful of her vids she ties her apron in the front of any of us did that a shift would make us retie it before we could come back to the floor
moldyhotpocket1 points7m ago
what? is that really against policy or something
Apprehensive-You52611 points7m ago
I guess so? It’s in the dress code handbook thing. They’re not super strict or anything with the dress code at the stores in my district but I’ve never seen a barista with their apron tied in front. They said it was some sort of health code thing similar to why we can’t wear watches. I guess if the string falls into someone’s drink etc I bet it’s rare but it’s a rule.
