So our bathroom was smoking. Electronic burning smell and smoke. Someone definitely was doing drugs in there.

Anyways, a customer (C) told me about it. I run to get my supervisor (S) and we go together just in case there's a person in there.

S: Hello! I need you to exit the bathroom so we can check on the smoke.
C: (yes the same guy) -exiting the bathroom- oh, okay. Can I use the employee bathroom?
S: No sorry.
C: Where can I use the bathroom then?

Me and my supervisor share a look.

S: You can try this place next door?

-3 minutes pass-

The customer comes back in and says: Hey, sorry, that place's bathrooms are out of order.
S: Oh, I'm sorry about that.
C: So where should I use the bathroom?
Me: -Stunned silence-
S: Um, try the restaurant over there?

Bear in mind you can see the restaurant from where we are. It's 20 feet away.

I really wanted to say "Sir honestly I don't care." But I got bills.

Lol why do they try to make it ur problem? U guys have a situation so he had to leave the bathroom and u guys suggested to him that he can go next door and use theirs and he did but then why does he come back to ur starbucks and make it ur problem? He could have asked the restaurant where else he can go after finding out their bathrooms are out of service (even tho thats still not the restaurants problem either) but it makes more sense than him leaving there and coming back to Starbucks to bug u guys about it again. Very weird lol like i kno we baby our customers all the damn time but this would be taking it to a whole new level....making sure they have a place to go potty lol if u cant use an establishments bathroom, ur an adult and u have to go find somewhere else
