should i call the manager about a job? (self.starbucksbaristas)

so i’ve worked at a starbucks before for almost a year, and when i got that job it was because i walked in and talked to them, but at this new starbucks that i’d like to apply for, they gave me the managers number and email. would it be appropriate to call them? or should i just email them? maybe it’s just me, but calling feels like i’m overstepping a boundary haha

I’d call the store, not the manager directly, and ask for the sm. if they’re not in, ask them to call you back when they are.
