Usually I just a couple snippy customers, but today they all came at the same time. And surprise, surprise they were all 50+. An old man got mad at me for not knowing you could grind the beans on French press setting? Like we totally get asked that all the time (sarcasm). And I got confused so I asked if it’s a metal or paper filter which made him confused. He also got mad that he couldn’t buy the beans and reload his card on the same transaction by paying with his gold card. Then it was a big process that created a line of impatient people.
It’s just ughhhh. I have a good rep as being the more optimistic among my crew but wtf was that. Then just 5+ people in a row with an angry and snippy demeanor.

Cold brew is also ground as French press
You can buy stuff and reload your card in the same transaction. You scan the beans, he scans the card, if theres not enough funds then a red box will pop up asking if you want to reload, you press yes and enter thr reload amount, and then they finish the transaction with cash or credit.

I work at a licensee store we don’t get any red box that pops up just the remaining balance left

Does the pop up say “you’re remaining balance is $xx.xx would you like to reload” and then theres yes /no options on it?
I’ve never worked at a license store so i dont know how different the POS is

It has no pop up, the only thing that changes is the the remaining balance at the bottom of the screen :/

Idk why people get so mad when going into a starbucks. Its really weird that some of em have the ability to get so angry and upset at a store that sells beverages.
I work at a cafe store. The day after red cup day was shockingly still hell. We thought a ton of people came and spent money on red cup day so i thought there would be some breathing room the day after that which was friday. Nope. Wrong. Lol we were PACKED in the store.
My manager and i were on hot bar together and constant mobile orders with 3 or 4 plus drinks. The cafe was extremely packed. There was a lady with a kid or 2 with her. Idk how long she was waiting for but she ordered in the store at the register. But at some point, she goes "do u kno when my drinks will be out? Why is everyone getting their drinks before me?"......hmmm maybe because they ordered before u or maybe if u got a cold drink, cold bar is backed up more than hot bar or if u got a hot drink, maybe hot bar was really backed up at that time. Theres a ton of factors that shes not thinking of before blurting out with entitlement "why is everyone getting their drinks before me?" My manager told her that were working as fast as we can and that it will come out when its ready lol like wtf else does she expect us to do? Prioritize her drinks so that we can have someone yell and scoff at us again like she did? 🙄

We had a customer go through drive thru saying her drink was made wrong 🤦🏻♀️
