Today we had 3 women come in (mid 20s-30s) saying their grandma was sick and they travel so much(Texas, Arizona, etc) and they love coffee so much they ordered 5 travelers(98$ of coffee). Apparently they were all cold and instead of saying something when it happened they want a refund now. Here’s the kicker the day they claim to have ordered it I opened and we had no travelers that day. They then conveniently changed the time frame from “early before 8am” to “around 4”. I also looked in the computer to be 100% sure and nope, no travelers. When we began to question them about the times and why they didn’t come in sooner they became very irate and confrontational. They demanded for the 98$ in cash and we explained to them we can only process refunds in cash under 25$. After arguing for over 20 minutes they finally left yelling insults. I’m shaking honestly at the arrogance. What a convoluted scheme this lady tried to pull.
