my store runs out of 2% almost every week, our deliveries are usually late too 😭

The ice machine at my store broke once. I went and got 30 huge bags of ice…..and had to carry them in myself 🥲

When you work in a big city and run out of milk and we have to run to the closest stores and carry them all in tote bags that we literally keep in the back room for that purpose 😭😭 our arms

I wish this wasn’t a weekly occurrence for us. But it is. We’re literally buying grocery stores out of milk at least once a week. Sometimes twice. Sometimes we use instacart because it’s too busy to let one of us go.

Always stressful. Hopefully it doesn’t become a regular occurrence for y’all too!

My store is in a Walmart parking lot. You will often see a barista pushing a shopping cart full of milk to our store

we have made two store runs for 2% in the last few days. We have no mocha, wm, peppermint, G/V hot lids, G/V hot cups, small shopper bags, or espresso. rip💀

Back when standard for everything was whole and Starbucks didn't actually order 2% at all, when people ordered 2% milk we just did half nonfat half whole milk. I will still do this if I don't have 2% available. And still will probably unless someone tells me it can make someone have a bad reaction or something.

Our truck got “lost” somehow and we had to send a barista to three stores today because each store kept cutting off how much milk we could buy 😭

We did too, despite ordering to par religiously (and having just increased it)

Yeah, my store ran out on red cup day. So that was fun running to the store. Then my mom who also works at Starbucks ran out as well (on red cup day) and the district manager happened to show up so they sent them to go get two percent milk at the store!

The perks of licensed partner that works in a grocery. We literally just grab milk from the dairy refrigerator & scan it over.

My store runs out of milk every so often but we’re in NYC so none of us have cars. The other day we had to DoorDash over a dozen 2%s 😂

Our store uses so much 2% we don’t have room for them to put what we order so we get shorted constantly

on Saturday we ran out of 2%, whole, oat, and almond 🙃 i hate it here

My store ran out so much we scheduled an extra person literally to just do pickups and drop offs

reading this thread and seeing how common it is pains me. across the stores i worked at, it was always milk or ice. even in the stores where we had that double-wide mongo ice machine.

i'm trying to think of other things we've had to buy from the grocery store in a panic. cold cups, half & half, toilet paper....anyone else got any good (bad) ones?

We run out pretty much weekly. We have to instacart milk now because we were leaving too often to get it 🤣 last time I had to go to the store and get 20 2%, 10 oat, 10 soy 🤣 I could barely push the cart.

my store is a kiosk in a grocery store so thankfully we don’t even have to leave. we just go into the store transfer it over to our department with the computer system and voila!

We've run out twice this month. Our customer count has been obnoxious. My store just subbed whole until the order came in a few hours later.

haha my store had to do this today at 7am. got 35 gallons, first time i’d seen that made me lol
