I want to become an SSV (self.starbucksbaristas)

So I want to bring it up to my store manager that I would like to become an SSV but I am already the JHSC representative for the workers. I’m just wondering if that still counts for an SSV or if the store would have to have a new person?

Anyone can become one! You just need to tell them you’re interested, if a spot is open you’ll need to fill out the application online, your sm will conduct an interview and it will be decided from there .
i’m sure being a representative can help, you just need to be able to explain how it helps you lead/ coach others for one of the questions i believe.
if you’re a barista trainer that’s helps a ton in showing you’re qualified to coach and help others.
