so i've been working for the bux for about a month now BUT the beginning of my training was kind of rocky. (SM got fired on my 2nd day and my trainer got sick) i've only been trained on CS, DTO/DTR, Oven/Front, and i managed to get a little practice on hot bar this week. should i be more proactive and directly ask for practice/training on bar? bc i'm lowkey getting tired of just taking orders. 99% of my shifts i'm on DTO or DTR, i just wanna make drinks or at least be on a different position 😭

if you work in the morning, i’d just ask one of your ssv if you can get bar practice after peek, if you work mid or close just straight up ask if you can have some bar time, if you still need help ask to be bar support

Ask to be put on bar for your shift. If you don't work exclusively during peak tour shifts will 100% take your question in consideration. They can put you on during slow times and don't be shy to ask your coworkers for help. Especially your second bar person if it's slow. Study how they sequence. See what they do and copy.
