I work at a license store. I am so done with the industry it sucks. It feels like I’ve been slowly drowning these past few years. I never really was a big fan of Starbucks to begin with. Starbucks is fast food and it can not claim to be a third place. Everything is being done to automate workers out of their jobs now.

The espresso machines, the blenders, ovens, everything. It is all being done to slash time and employees needed, all at the expense of baristas and customer connections.

I’m so happy I can modify my schedule so I only have to work once every few months. Part of me wants to watch my storm slowly burn, every since I cut my hours, expiring items are left out all the time, no date dotes, barely changed sani, etc.

I hope my store slowly burns down. Our customer connection was at 10 I last checked. They all deserve it.
