Not sure if i saw the weird shaken espresso on this reddit thread or the other starbucks thread, but i need to know the shaken espresso standard. I’ve had shifts tell me that it doesn’t get topped off with milk anymore- it gets a little more ice on top then milk. pls help xoxo one year partner who shouldn’t be dealing with this 🤠

Typically the espresso is shaken with the ice and poured into the cup, topped with milk. I only add a little more ice if the espresso melts an unnecessary amount of ice and it becomes mostly milk.
Rule of thumb to avoid this though is fill the ice level with the sizes "ice" line

Cbs classic pumps 2-4-6 into shaker. Ice scoop matching the size (if you do it this way you don’t need to top off with ice), add shots 2-3-4, shake ten times. Pour into cup, top with 2%
