I love coffee, making coffee, and giving it my all. However, at starbucks I feel robotic. Its just one drink after another and I feel like I have no time to be personal with customers. Its literally

i got interested in coffee bc i started in specialty and starbucks is so … urgh. if you’re interested in coffee, smaller coffee shops are definitely the way to go, starbs just cares about getting drinks out quickly

I love making drinks, I really do. I like my regulars. I like talking to people and getting to make their day better. It’s everything else I hate. I hate understaffing, I hate the politics, I hate the high turnover and the way that over the year and day by day it always feels like as soon as one problem is solved, another pops up.
