New opener question 😅 (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’m a new opener, been closing for year and a half now though,
We date our syrups like chai, WM, Pmkin, etc for 5 am (our store open time)
Does that mean any left over sauces in the container when we open bar needs to be throw, clean and replaced ?

My question is why is your dating system so complicated. I've worked at 3 stores and the system has always been using the time that it was made (ex: a mocha made at 11am goes out at 11am the next day) unless it's End of Day stuff. I know some stores have openers make backups but it seems waaaaayyy unnecessary to have that stuff sit overnight just to have the openers clean and replace them in the morning.

if it’s expired/current time and date are past what’s on the sticker then throw it out
