I have a viral chest infection and am about to run open/peak as a SSV because I didn't have a chance to call out. Gonna double mask up and hope my crew will be able to run play.

Well this is horrible. How's it going so far?

Well I was nitpicked by my SM about my "process" with running the shift. When I suggested something about running 2 breaks together especially when we had the people, I was told "when have I ever ran beaks like that".... "respectfully". 1/10 wouldn't recommend. However, I had a 52 second peak time with 57 customers so it wasn't too bad.

You did a good job, comrade.

Between me, you, and the subreddit .... I feel like I've betrayed a lot if my personal beliefs and feelings coming to work for this company. I even said in the interview about I applied as a joke and honestly didnt expect to be hired given my resume has Service Workers Union rep listed on it. However, when I was being interviewed the SM made it seem like her storw was an outlier and it made me feel better about coming to work for THIS STORE, not necessarily Starbucks.

Unfortunately, growing up with a "get the job done no matter the personal cost" mentality has been taken advantage of more than once.
