If you’re gonna prank call, at least be funny. Half the time it’s just girls giggling

My favorite last week was, “can I get a pumpkin cream cold brew. Extra creaaaam if you know what I meaaaan” in the most disgusting high pitch voice lol.

They’re kids. “I’ll report this phone number to the police” usually stops it instantaneously. I have, obviously, never taken a prank call to the police, but no kid is risking that.

Is it the same phone number? I’ve blocked phone numbers for similar excessive phone calls. If not, if it always happens at the same time, you could leave the phone off the receiver for that time and hope that it stops them.

I just knew in my soul we were getting a prank call so I answered [redacted] sheriffs office and county morgue. Girl started freaking out. It was great

We got a prank call, they were giggling the whole time and asking if we sold pizza and other nonsense. I hung up. They called back and since we have caller ID, I answered with “Thank you for calling [location] Starbucks, what can I do for you, [name]?”
No response, then they hung up! Not sure if it was the kids name or the parents name but it sure shut them up!!

I've had luck just being straight up with them and saying like, "hey guys it sounds like you're having fun but I'm trying to work, and I don't want to have to get yall in any trouble." I'd never take action against them but they stop calling if you mention it.

I got 4 prank calls in a row from the same number. Some tiny little voice responds to my usual greeting with “thank you for coming to Burger King”, calls back, I ignore the call. Calls back again, asks to order a pink drink, so I hang up. Calls back AGAIN, and says “thank you for calling Starbucks” to which I immediately say do NOT call the store again.
I told my partners what happened, and they agreed, if you’re going to prank call, at least be funny.

Not today, we had kids that called and asked for the manager. I'm the manager(shift). They were obviously not expecting the manager to be man. Oh you're the manager...then starts screaming they're quitting they're sick of how they're being treated. I just hung up, but I was sooooo tempted to tell that's cool I was going to fire them for being dumbass any way. My luck they'd whine to their parents and they'd come in and throw a fit. I work in a very well to do town.

the other day my store got 5 calls in a row from some little boy who just kept screaming “suck my dick!” 🤦♀️

Prank them back. Say horrendous things and then they can’t tattle.

Our store phone has a block number option. Quite useful for these.
Our mission is to provide everyone with access to large- scale community websites for the good of humanity. Without ads, without tracking, without greed.
