U mean every 4 hours kinda like smallwares? When i first started at my store like 2 years and 9 months ago, they trained me on smallwares needing to be done every 4 hours. They made me do it quite often. Then as time went on, it literally just stopped getting done. And i hate it cuz the milk pitchers get this gross film on em by the middle of the day or the afternoon. And im always on bar now so i put those pitchers aside whenever that happens. Im guna start asking for CS to start doing smallwares again cuz it gets nasty. I cant even imagine how long it takes for a steam wand to get to that point

This is the underneath of the steaming wand, it should be cleaned at least once a day (end of day break down). It would be literally impossible to work the bar if you had to unscrew the plastic cap and clean this under part after every use.

Me too, clean bars every night and have never pulled the plastic cover off and seen anything close to that.

it was my number one favorite thing to clean and id battle to do it at my store. once a shift showed it to me i did it from then out my whole time there. id love to clean one again if we’re being honest lol
