It mostly passes. There are always gonna be days when everything is overwhelming, but with time those days become pretty rare.
Also you're only a week out from training! Cut yourself some slack :)

I felt this way too! It passes :) I felt like I couldn’t do anything right. For weeks after I was supposed to be fully trained, people were still correcting me and telling me how to do things the right way. I was also wicked frustrated because during my training I got almost no time to train on bar, I kept just getting stuck on drive through since it was so easy.
For the first month~ I felt useless. Never wanted to go in. Then, finally, it changed. I love going into work now. My coworkers like me. The job is fun for me instead of something I dread. It’ll change for you if you stick it out (but you totally don’t have to)!

Best advice I can give you bud is to just work at the pace you are able. Do your best to do it right the first time so you don’t gotta do it twice. And ALWAYS ask questions whether its for how many pumps/shots, or where the button for XX and YY. Everyone on your team SHOULD ALWAYS ready to help you when you need it. Also try your best to not get into your own head. If you mess up then honestly, fuck it. Move to the next task. Just remember next time.
Being told something along those lines when I first started and couldn’t get the hang of it for a good few months, it helped me put a little of it into perspective. Now I’m a barista trainer, though relatively new, I’m still learning.

It’s a rough season to be starting, holiday is the busiest time of year with the neediest people and the most staffing issues. You should see if you can stick it out a couple more months and see if it starts to feel better.
