I think it depends on the store. afaik at my store it’s only Christmas, usually our Thanksgiving tips are only slightly higher than a regular day, but our Christmas tips are a lot more.

Yes. They DO NOT go into the store pool. Have whoever processes tips do them ASAP, and make sure they stay separate from the pool.
Context: Was an SSV in charge of weekly tips.

corporate policy is that we can only do this with christmas day because it is the only volunteer based day of the year at starbucks.

not true, they are generally pooled for the week and divided based upon hours worked. I believe the only exception is Christmas day since its a volunteer shift.
