Guys when I first started it seemd like so much to process. Genuinely debated quitting two weeks in due to my personal anxiety levels. Now one month in after embracing the organized chaos I can finally breath. I have a feeling that is “easy” when you’ve learned it all but it’s still incredibly demanding at times. My message to my fellow new workers is you’ll learn so much every shift you work and it will build your confidence. I’m still learning every day and so will the rest of my fellow partners 😊

thank you so much for this, i started roughly 2 weeks ago and i really contemplated if this was the right job for me & i fought back many tears during multiple shifts lol. i do see things becoming easier and easier for me to pick up on as the days go by and it's not quite as scary anymore!

Couldn’t agree more I can’t describe how much I was bricking it lol. Assuming you have cool management def tell them how you feel and they will give you all the support you need. That’s what I did and I can’t thank my managers enough they will ensure your success

The first few weeks are like drinking out of a fire hose. Ask the dumb questions, ask the questions you have. I’ve been working at Starbucks for about 2 years and there’s so many different things to learn. Ask the dumb questions, and if you have to when you start practicing talk through what you’re doing. You’re doing great. And at the end of the day it’s just coffee.
