I sold ten shares a couple of days ago, but can’t figure out how to transfer the money to my bank account. It says I don’t have enough cash when I clearly do. It’s 7 at night where I am, so too late to call Fidelity. I can call tomorrow, but would love some insight as I’m feeling a bit anxious!

You need to wait until the cash from the sale is available, which can take a few days.

Sales of stock usually take 7days traditionally if I remember correctly

Thank you so much!!

It says you only have $9.62 cash available to withdraw. That’s probably your dividends.

Idk what that means lol.

The one of the benefits of owning stock is that when a corporation makes a profit, they reward their stockholders with free money.
